Product Care

-
spot clean or dry clean only (do not machine wash)
-
your Ragmaw bag is meant to be used wholeheartedly throughout its lifetime; however, as with other fabric garments, your bag will wear over time with repeated, daily use
-
there are several ways to give your bag some extra TLC...
-
hang your bag up when not in use
-
avoid leaving your bag on the ground/floors when possible (winter salt on car floors, for example, can be harsh on waxed canvas, causing it to dry out and wear more quickly)
-
-
waxed canvas is a weather resistant material and is meant to soften up and develop a patina/worn-in look over time
-
leather straps and accents will also soften with time+wear
-
we use distressed leathers wherever possible; it is an intentional design choice, bringing charm to your bag and minimizing your time spent on caring for the leather (if you do wish to condition the leather portions of your bag, rubbing some leather balm onto those areas every other year will do the trick!)
-

-
'all-leather' Ragmaw bags should be taken to a professional shoe repair or leather shop for stain removal/cleaning
-
as with other fabrics, use a lint roller to remove loose debris, animal fur, etc.
-
denim jeans sometimes bleed dye; please do a rub test on scrap fabric before your Ragmaw bag is worn against new jeans (denim dyes cannot be washed off)
-
straps are made to a standard measurement; if there is excess length after your strap has been adjusted, it can be carefully trimmed off as desired
